Aristocrat ImageGaming company Aristocrat Technologies Inc., responsible for some of the best land-based and online products in the world, is due to unveil an exciting new slot machine at the 2018 Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas. Based on the complex and high-stakes Showtime production, Billions, it is eagerly anticipated by industry insiders,

Showtime and CBS Collaborate

The slot has been made possible by a licensing agreement between Showtime, Aristocrat and CBS Consumer Products. Showtime is owned by the CBS Corporation, so any licensing and merchandising of one of its series has to be managed by the Consumer Products division.

Much of the excitement about the Billions game is how intriguing the show itself is. Siobhan Lane, Aristocrat's Senior Vice President for Marketing and Gaming Operations, described working with teams from Showtime Networks and CBS Consumer Products as inspiring.

Since the joint venture could be very lucrative for all 3 companies, the mutual cooperation makes sense. Lane added that Aristocrat's design teams love creating slots for shows such as Billions, which are complex and engaging.

Billions Game Theme

Lane said that her company is excited to present the new land-based slot at G2E 2018, which will be taking place from the 9th to the 12th of October 2018. The machine will focus on the first 2 seasons of the production, which will soon air its 4th instalment.

Characters like US Attorney Chuck Rhoades, hedge fund king Bobby “Axe” Axelrod, Wendy Rhoades, Lara Axelrod and Taylor Mason will be seen on the reels. The compelling drama in the show centres on Chuck Rhoades and Bobby Axelrod, who are brilliantly played by Emmy® and Golden Globe® winners Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis respectively. Giamatti is also an Oscar® nominee.

Slot Machine Details

The exciting theme is not the only reason why players are looking forward to the Billions release. The progressive start-up jackpot of $500,000, which will span several sites, is also very attractive. In addition, the machine is part of the Mighty Cash™ series, which means it features a “hold-and-spin” function that allows players to try and control the reels to win more credits and jackpots.

Aristocrat's revolutionary flame55™ cabinet will house the game. The cabinet has a 55-inch, double-curved HD monitor, ergonomic engineering, a 2.1 stereo audio, a 4k-capable display, individually controlled dynamic infinity edge LED lighting, and a virtual button deck. The capabilities should really be able to bring the complex world of Billions to life, delighting existing fans and recruiting some new ones!
